Southshore Metropolitan District encompasses the property within Southeast Aurora, Colorado located to the south of Aurora Reservoir.  The community consists of almost 2,000 residential lots and amenities .

The District was formed with governmental authorization and is primarily responsible for the common area irrigation and landscape maintenance , common area sidewalk and street snow removal, operations and staffing at the Lighthouse and Lakehouse, and pool maintenance, community-wide communication, resident engagement and events programing.

Through the District's management company, The Management Trust, the District has full-time employees to perform day-to-day operations.  Also, the District utilizes the services of Cocklrel Ela Glesne Greher and Ruhland, and Simmons and Wheeler for legal and accounting services, respectively.

The District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors.  Board meetings are open to the public and are usually held at 6:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month.   Meetings are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.  Please see meeting calendar for changes.
