The Southshore Metropolitan Districts are governmental entities and political subdivisions of the State of Colorado each operating with an elected five person Board of Directors. The primary purpose of the Districts is to finance public infrastructure required by the development and to provide on-going operation and maintenance of retained District improvements and facilities.  The Districts' primary funding is from a property tax mill levy assessed on properties located within the Districts' boundaries.
